DEATH OF TEACHER KWAN FONG:Believed to Have Suffered Depression Due to Debt

JOHOR BAHRU - The disappearance of teacher Lo Kwan Fong over the past nine days, before she was found dead alone in her residence in Bandar Selesa Jaya, Skudai last Thursday, is believed to be linked to the severe financial stress she was facing, allegedly due to serious debt.

This latest information was obtained following an investigation conducted by the Johor State Education Department (JPNJ) after the discovery of the body of Kwan Fong, 39, which had decomposed and is suspected to have been deceased for about a month.

Johor's Chairman of the Education, Information and Communication Committee, Aznan Tamin, said that the authorities are still awaiting the full detailed investigation report from the police regarding the death of the senior teacher from a primary school in Skudai.

"The teacher claimed to be experiencing depression, but there was no documented proof from the hospital," he said.
